2:07 pm - Good Afternoon Delta 2! I am logging into the cams. Sandy, thank you for ID'g that woodpecker...I hadn't had a chance to look for that but glad you were able to find out what kind it was.

2:20 pm - found what may be a small hawk very low down on the far right tower
2019-09-12 17_20_54-Greenshot_LI_Moment.jpg
And lots of small birds on the center tower and a couple on the top of the pole, then some lower down on the tower and wires. That's all I was able to find....sounds like it's raining a little so no one was flying around.

2:31 pm - I am now off the cams. Everyone have a great rest of your day!

3:55 pm logging into both cams just to take a look around.

4:05 pm did not see any birds but looks like we have had a visitor close to the west cam as left some dropping on the new dome. Maybe a rain will come soon and clean it off. 4:09 pm logging off both cams.

6:58 am - Good Morning Delta 2! I am going to log into the cams for a look around. Seems like it's going to be a windy and rainy day today in Delta.

Seems like another piece of tape is now loose where we just had one taken off
2019-09-17 10_07_51-Greenshot_LI_Moment.jpg
And that one on the E Cam side of the tree and really whipping around in the wind and may be a little looser than it use to be, and now seems quite a bit bigger.

7:17 am - Boy is it really windy out there at Delta! Was hard to keep focus with the swaying but I don't think I saw anyone perched out there on any trees, towers or poles.

I am now off the cams. Everyone have a great day!

10:06am...........There is a bird on top of this pole in the distance........I think it is too small to be an eagle so could be a hawk of some kind.

1:35pm.......No matter how hard we try to spot and remove them, there always seems to be tape hanging from the cam fastenings.......They become visible when there is wind.

I took my granddaughter out to the ferry this afternoon and went and checked on the nest. Not an eagle in sight anywhere, not even at the dump. I saw lots of hawks though.

7:16 am I went back to September, 2018 to check when the first sightings of eagles in the area. Found that on September 22nd, a large bird thought to be a juvenile was seen. Confirmation was difficult because the lighting was not the best. Then on September 26th, Sue spotted what was thought to be the tower eagle pair at the tower behind to the left of the evergreen area. Shortly later, an adult was seen at the neighbor's tower. And then of course, Ma made her appearance on September 28th. So we are hopefully getting closer to eagle sightings at the Delta!

7:23 am logging into both cams for a quick look.

7:26 am well, what could this be swinging in the wind? Is it a part of a strap or piece of bark working lose from the tree. Couldn't tell.

7:46 am logging off both cams. I didn't see any birds but did hear some smaller bird chatter coming from the tree but could find them.
