Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
7:57 am - earlier when I checked on the Tower neighbors I did not see anyone there....now there is someone on the pole to the right, and there could be someone laying down on the nest...seems to be a little bump there.
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
8:03 am - Bella started calling out and appeared to be following someone flying by...I didn't see anyone but checked on the first pole and our adult is no longer there so they flew off to somewhere...haven't found them yet. They could be at the distant evergreen...not sure if that is visible right now with this bad weather but will check.
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
8:21 am - it's brighter at the distant evergreen than I thought it would be....no one there that I can see as the cam is swaying quite a bit
Whoever was at the flag pole is no longer there
There is still an adult on the pole, right of the school trees. This could be one of ours or it could be one of the Bluff eagles.
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
8:42 am - the adult on the pole, right of the school trees is no longer there....and now I have no eagles in sight except for Bella on the nest tree. Sweet Bella, loves to be home.
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
8:51 am - there is now an adult on the middle of the field tree
Bella has a good view of them from this spot on the nest tree
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
8:55 am - the adult is still on the middle of the field tree and Bella is still on the nest tree....getting quite windy out there. Taking a break so have brought the W Cam back to the nest and left the E Cam on Bella. If anyone sees anyone come to the nest or another branch, please post if you can. Thanks!
I am now off the cams.Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
9:26 am - from the rollback - Bella came down to the nest to check things out
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
9:42 am - from the rollback - lifting those wings out to feel the wind beneath them, then letting it take him up and out of sight of the cam
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
9:48 am - from the rollback- Bella calling out before heading back up onto a branch
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
10:26 am - Bella is still up on the branch...waiting for someone to come visit, I guess.
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
10:35 am - I am going to log into the cams to adjust the E Cam over a little bit and also just for a quick look around.
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
10:38 am - we have an adult on the distant evergreen tree
Bella is looking out at the adult
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
10:51 am - staying on longer than expected because I thought I saw someone in the stick tree and was hoping it was Coola but it appears to be an adult and most likely Trooper as he does not like strong winds.
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
11:01 am - Bella still on the nest tree and looking toward the stick tree
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
11:04 am - Bella calling out and looking around as if someone was flying around....then down to the nest for some leftovers
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
11:13 am - Bella is still on the nest eating some leftovers.
I have to run so I've put the E Cam back on the branches just in case Bella goes back up there or someone else lands there.
I am off the cams now. Note that the last I saw we had one adult at the distant evergreen and one in the stick tree.Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
12:03 Parent brought something in and a juvie followed them in but so did another eagle I think. Both parents are at the nest and agitated.

12:05 pm heard the ruckus and find either Ma or Trooper bringing in food. Another eagle or juvie following them in. Can see Bella's wing flutter on arrival.
Hi Darlene. Thanks for taking the cams.“Eagles: When they walk, they stumble. They are not what one would call graceful. They were not designed to walk. They fly. And when they fly, oh, how they fly, so free, so graceful. They see from the sky what we never see.” – Unknown
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
12:05 pm adult landing in the nest with the food followed by Bella mantling and squeeing. Adult is clearly upset and vocalizing.

Hi Sandy. I am thinking maybe a squirrel but hard to tell, wasn't a whole lot left of it.

12:14 pm well, now I am second guessing myself with who this is as the wind is certainly blowing feathers all around.

Yikes, I am getting sea sick trying to look in the trees for whatever is out there, it is too windy. Ma is still agitated a bit though.

12:34 pm Ok, this now looks like Trooper so I had it wrong. Can see the slight white feather on his back. Anyway, Trooper hops down to the nest and begins to feed Bella.
