Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread

10:02am..............Just witnessed an amazing interaction between 2 eagles..........I think one was an adult as I managed to get one s'cap which might show a white head. This would make an amazing video if anyone wants to make one!

As the cam was panning from L to R we saw an eagle flying to the right near the far right pole and tower. It continued to head that way. Lost sight of it as it went down but got sight of it again as it was approaching the neighbour's tower where an eaglet was perched.

10:08pm.......Both were flying back and forth and often together............they went to the right then headed to the left......

This one looked like it might have a white head but it may not have had one.

10:08am.........More of the eagles chasing each other.

[Jean]

10:09pm......Both headed to the left where one suddenly turned to the right............lost them at that point.

10:21am.............No sign of any eagles now. Trooper has not been seen on cam yet today.

I am now OFF both cams.

No eagles have been to the nest since the last post.

1:51 pm - I just checked the rollback and the only visitors to the nest since the last post were these two little birdies

Thanks Sue............it is a sure sign when starlings start picking the nest that there are no eagles near it!

2:02pm......Not seeing anyone around so far...................looks like everyone is gone.

Tide is way far out right now.

2:27pm.............I've searched and searched and am seeing no eagles at all. Not even any flying down by the water. Very quiet.............where have they all gone?

4:26pm...........No eagles have come to the nest since the last post.

5:11 pm well now, who could these two be? I don't see a white head but look the size of an eagle.
