8:06 pm - I believe that is Trooper too Jean. He's looking around quite a bit.

The Tower eagle on the tower moved over to the right a bit...the other is still on the left pole

Hi Sue.......yes, I do too............This is Trooper. He really seems to be protecting the area that is why is is bouncing around between poles and trees so much.

8:18pm......Well, this startled me............and until I could find it on the rollback I was thinking maybe an eaglet had flown by.......but no...........that long beak looks like a starling's beak to me.

Jean, earlier when I zoomed into the eagle on the neighbor's tower I thought I saw a white head on them, and had thought I also saw white on the one on the pole. Would you be able to check them to see what you think? I know we've been thinking one is a juvie but I couldn't confirm that....the lighting wasn't the best.

Hi Sue.......yes, I do too............This is Trooper. He really seems to be protecting the area that is why is is bouncing around between poles and trees so much.
Good morning, Jean and Sue. Reading through the posts from last night, I am reminded of how Trooper got his name. Becoming the new mate for Ma at the close of last season, Trooper continued to hang around and take care of the nest and the area. As he was a trooper to take care of business at the end of the season as he is doing now, AME (adult male eagle) became known as Trooper. :rh:
“Eagles: When they walk, they stumble. They are not what one would call graceful. They were not designed to walk. They fly. And when they fly, oh, how they fly, so free, so graceful. They see from the sky what we never see.” – Unknown

5:27 am - Good Morning Delta 2! Hi Sandy! Thanks for the memory from last year. It's great to remember how Trooper was named. He sure is hanging in there like last year. I remember the Tower eagles hanging in there a long time last year and thought that may have been part of the reason why Trooper stayed around. I think he eventually did leave before then but seemed very reluctant to do so. We will see if he stays around again today.

I am logging into the cams now.

5:42 am - the Tower juvie is still on the platform, as they were last night. And it looks like the adult is up top on the spike.

The juvie did a couple wingers and is now on the left side.

6:32 am - Trooper has been looking to the right quite a bit so I decided to look around really good to see what he may be looking at and the only someone I found was an adult on the church cross. Not sure if they have been seen in the last week, but looks like they are still hanging in there too.
