7:50 am - the adult on the tower eagle nest flew off to the left

7:53 am - I put the West cam over to the tower eagles' left pole and caught the adult coming from this area

As they got closer to the tower we can see they are carrying something in their talons.....looks like a stick but could be a fish or some other type of meal...hard to tell...looks pretty big though

Here as they are overtop of the nest it looks like it could be a duck?

7:54 am - unfortunately going through the rollback after the adult arrived back at the tower nest it appeared to me that what they brought in was a stick....first s'cap shows the eaglet popping up to the right of them but the arrow just above the adult on the nest is the end of what I think is the stick....and they turn around with that and appear to place it on the left rail......their mate is above watching....so I will assume it is the male on the nest and the female above?

Here is the adult when they turn to the left with the thing in their beak

And again just before they drop it in place here....they did play around with the placement a bit

8:09 am - the adult up top flew off to the left

Caught up with them on the other cam as they passed by the left pole

And now I'm thinking I have the ID's wrong....I would think the female would be at the nest most of the time and now wondering if that was her all along on the nest and then flying off to get a stick to bring back. I think I remember last season that Roseann mentioned one of the adults was not around in the later part of the season while the eaglet was still there. I wonder if this is a new male and maybe he is too young to know what his responsibilities are and the female is having to do most of the work. Just my thoughts.

8:25 am - The one tower adult was still on their nest just before I logged off the cams.

7:41 am - what a sight to see....the tower eagle mate flew in and landed up top.....was getting worried something may have happened to them. Note that the other adult on the tree over to the right is still there so that was not the Tower eagle.

Oh what a relief Sue. Like you, I was getting worried that one of the pair had disappeared.

SATURDAY, MAY 4, 2024

7:11 am - looks like an eagle on this pole to the right of the first tower.....we have seen our adults here before so this could be one of them.

7:17 am - over in the east field at the Power tower....one of the pair is up top

7:22 am - over to the far east field looks like an eagle on this tower

7:32 am - the eagle perched near the first tower flew off to the right....they stayed low and went behind a building...I couldn't follow them after that as the stick tree branches block everythng after that.

7:41 am - one tower adult is at home. I checked around the area for their mate but did not find them. And haven't seen the eaglet yet.

7:56 am - back in the east field....there is still an adult up on top of the Power tower and looks like another eagle perched on the pole down and to the left

8:00 am - back at the Tower eagles' tower....the adult flew off to the left...I tried following them but lost them just after the left pole

8:01 am - an adult came back to the tower and landed on the nest...I do not believe that they brought anything back to the nest

Their mate came to the nest a couple minutes later....I couldn't tell if they brought anything back with them but it's great seeing both on the nest together

8:04 am - the adults were together on the nest until this time when one of them moved to the left side of the platform
