7:37 am - Good Morning Delta 2! I am logged into the cam.
Re: Delta2 2022 - 2023 Observation and Discussion Forum
7:40 am - an eagle on top of the Power Tower....it's a bit windy out this morning.
Re: Delta2 2022 - 2023 Observation and Discussion Forum
7:50 am - seeing someone on the Tower eagles' nest platform
Re: Delta2 2022 - 2023 Observation and Discussion Forum
7:55 am - as I continue to watch the Tower eagles' tower.....and take s'caps and zoom in more....it looks like there could be two someones on the nest platform
A few minutes later it looks like two distinct figures here
Re: Delta2 2022 - 2023 Observation and Discussion Forum
8:07 am - one good thing about a strong breeze is that it is blowing the tree branches enough so we can see the far right pole.....and one of our adults is there!
Re: Delta2 2022 - 2023 Observation and Discussion Forum
8:30 am - was keeping the cam on our eagle on the far right pole because they always seem to fly off on the half hour or the top of the hour......well our adult didn't disappoint and almost at 8:30 am they flew off to the left....I am assuming they went to the center tower nest....but couldn't see them once they went behind the tree branches
Re: Delta2 2022 - 2023 Observation and Discussion Forum
8:38 am - brought the cam back over to the Power Tower...no adult there now but because I have looked at this tower so much I can see small differences in some spots....in this first s'cap there is someone sticking their head up above the horizontal bar....just below that bar is where I believe the nest is located....so, I'm thinking this is the head of one of the eaglets....and yes, I say one of the eaglets because I now believe there are at least two there as I was seeing another one doing wingers while that one eaglet remained in the same spot.
Here is when the other eaglet was doing wingers....not that you can tell from just this s'cap but that darker spot is bigger here....the 2nd eaglet's wing is covering up their little sibling.....the eaglet doing the wingers is over to the right and behind some of those cross bars but if you look at the rollback at the time on the s'cap and also a little later at 8:40:20 you will see that there are two eaglets...one standing and the other doing wingers.

8:53 am - one of the Power Tower adults flew to the top of their tower....can still see one of the eagles below.
Re: Delta2 2022 - 2023 Observation and Discussion Forum
9:02 am - was just checking on the Tower eagles.....one of them was on the nest....assuming this is an eaglet but can't say for sure.....I had then zoomed in a bit toward the ground and when I pulled the cam back one of the adults came flying in from the left and landed in the nest area. Unfortunately in the 2nd s'cap below we cannot make out the eaglet on the nest as it is just too far away
Once I put the cam in the right position I think I can see two figures hereRe: Delta2 2022 - 2023 Observation and Discussion Forum
9:18 am - No additional activity.....I am now off the cam. Everyone have a great day!
