I just spoke with Ken about the signals breaking up on both cams. He wasn't home so couldn't look at them, but said it sounded like some sort of connection issue. It sounded as if he was hoping to get out to Delta to check everything on the ground - but he's busy tomorrow and there's supposed to be snow for the next few days, so he didn't want to make a commitment as to when he might get out there. I told him that I didn't expect anyone to lay an egg any time soon, so there was no hurry.

So true... on both accounts... snow expected, but no eggs expected soon. :D

Hi all
When I drove around earlier about 12:50, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw a pair of AE’s on a utility pole of some kind right at the road leading into Walmart and on the edge of a large farmer’s field on the east side of 52nd. Terrible picture I’m afraid and the one I tried to take facing the other way was useless. I waited to see if one would move to see a limp but instead, the one in the middle flew into the field followed shortly by the other. I couldn’t see them for a bit but could follow their trail by the ducks they set up in flight. I could see them chase as I moved along then one of them flew back toward the new nest tower stopping to perch on the tree I photoed recently. I was driving so could not turn around again but it would not surprise me if the pair then flew on to where RoseA saw them on the far right tower and pole.

Thanks for the pics, Muriel! It's always wonderful to see them!

All the embedded cams went down a few minutes ago. I checked with Ken, and he's having internet problems. He's working on it, and hopefully they will start coming back up before too long.

4:39pm rollback, one tower eagle home on a spike and one that could be flying towards the tower. Couldn't catch it on roll-back to be sure because the East embedded cam seems to be freezing a lot.

I talked with Ken a few minutes ago, and he made some changes with his computers which he's hoping will help with the cams. West is looking better to me; East appears to still have some issues, freezing then leaping ahead after a bit.

At least nothing is flashing funny colors - so that's a step in the right direction. And Ken is very good at what he does, so if it's possible to fix all of this, it will happen, though maybe not completely for a few days.

I noticed that too Judy... less breaking up of the signal on either cam and just the East cam lagging then jumping ahead... as you say a step in the right direction.

1:59pm very windy again today. I couldn't tell it was snowing here at all in some views but I think it is a bit... a little snow on the ground as well.
Note: Looked again and it seems to be snowing a lot now. :snow:

Logging into the cams.

Looks like the East embedded cam is frozen at 12:49pm. Will report that.
