Thank you so much, Jean, for the wonderful summary of Ma and Trooper's nesting season. So very proud of Ma and Trooper raising their eaglets, Hope and Chase. They certainly sent these two off with the survival skills to become magnificent eagles. It was a privilege to watch them grow from little bobbleheads to strong juvies. Wish Ma, Trooper, Hope and Chase safe travels.

And the collage you created, Jean, is beautiful. :rh:

5:25 am logging into both cams to just take a look.
5:33 am a pretty morning at Delta. Saw a flock of birds fly pass the evergreens.

5:36 am logging off both cams. Have wonderful day, everyone.

Thank you Jean for the beautiful summary of this season. Ma & Trooper did such a great job raising Hope & Chase. I just loved watching them grow and learn from their parents on the nest, and then have the opportunity to watch after they fledged and their interaction with their parents off the nest. Could really see that they were learning more from them off the nest. I only wish that time could have lasted longer but these two fledglings learned so quickly and felt comfortable enough to head off on their own before too long. We all know that Ma is always the first to leave after her babies have left and that Trooper hangs out a little longer. I got to thinking about the first year he was with us and had to go back to the 2017-2018 season to read up a little on him. Being that he wasn’t there until near the end of the season, and not really having his claim on the territory yet, he actually stuck around for over a week after Ma left, making sure the other pairs and any other adults hanging around the area knew that he intended to make this his territory. And now three seasons later he is so comfortable that this is his permanent home (and has been for the last couple years), that now he leaves just after Ma does. Both are such great parents, raising their young to go off on their own. They will have a well deserved break and I will miss them until they return in the Fall.

Thanks again to Jean for all that she does to keep us all together and rest of our team of zoomers. Such a great season for everyone!

12:36pm......Thank you LutzG, Sandy, Sue and Judy Benson............much appreciated.

IN on both cams.

I think there might be something very small inside the middle tower. Cannot be sure. Too small to be an eagle.

Other than that there is nothing else to be seen...very quiet except for small birdies nearby.

I am now OFF both cams.

Thank you, Jean, for the great summary of this wonderful season - so great to see Hope and Chase setting out into the world!

And a huge thank you to the excellent zoomer team and the great observers - you all worked together so well to tell the story of these eagles.

:ty:

Be safe and have wonderful lives, Hope and Chase, and enjoy your time away, Ma, Trooper and zoomers!

 :bye 1:

PS - if you're not quite ready to say goodbye to the eagles for the year, our White Rock eagles started about a month later than the Delta pair, so their solo chick Romeo is about 10-1/2 weeks and doing some flapping, but probably won't fledge for another week or so. Thank you everyone for another awesome season! I will never forget Hope's last "stick play" in the nest!! Was pretty amazing to watch!
This is season 10 for me and as ever I am amazed by our beautiful Ma! She is something extra special. Best wishes to Hope and Chase on their next adventure and everyone have a well deserved rest.
Will be waiting for Ma and Troopers return. They put a smile in our hearts! :rh: :rh:

Thank you Jean for the season summary and the collage. Incredible to think that in a few short months we saw the progression from eggs, eaglets, fledglings and now juvies going off to explore their world, all under the watchful care of Ma and Trooper. A huge thank you to all the zoomers, watchers and HWF for giving us this wonderful window into the world of bald eagles. I learned so much about them from watching the cams daily and catching up on this forum.

Hope and Chase, were you the two juvies I saw on Monday near Lynn Peak on the North Shore? You were soaring close together just above our lookout. One of you had a whitish pattern on your tail similar to Hope's. I know the chances are slim, but I like to think that was you. Wherever your travels take you, may you find plenty of fish and lots of thermals. Ma and Trooper, hope to see you soon.

Take care, everyone! :bye 1:

Good Morning Midvale! What exciting news to hear you saw a couple juvies up north. And a wonderful thought that it could have been Hope and Chase together as they make their way north. A shame we can’t know for sure though but know those two are probably doing well.
