On Oct 8 stim reported a driveby sighting of an adult eagle perched on a tree near the creek mouth

I visited several times through the summer and saw no activity at the nest tree. But each time I visited I heard lots of construction activity from the new development on that side of the bay. The construction didn't seem to be near the tree but with it being so noisy its possible Ma and Pa moved on...

Today I saw Ma and Pa sitting in a favourite perch tree drying off their feathers after the recent rainstorms. Both were spending a lot of time preening but also calling out at any passing eagles, I think making sure everyone knew they were back !

1 adult eagle first seen in the area on Oct 10, being quite vocal and resting in various favourite perch trees around the nest. Looks like Pa is back! :eagle: :)

I visited the nest on Oct 13 and saw 1 adult eagle in a favourite perch tree, possibly Pa? :eagle: :)

The nest tree is still empty so no construction activity on the rebuild yet
