Langdale eagles were spotted on the tower early January 2023.

Viewing through my telescope this morning I saw Ma & Pa Stalashen perched at the top of the nest tree.

I have been unable to post for a while.
Good that you saw them Sandra. I see them often, sometimes one other times both in the tree. I saw one in the nest a few times so maybe checking the condition.

No eagles there the nest appears to be abandoned.

My Stalashen eagles are still visiting the nest and I believe starting to rebuild it.
I have seen them perched in branches and in the nest over the last few weeks. If I'm lucky I see one fly out or in.

Through my telescope:

I saw one eagle in the nest probably Ma and the other one on the favourite branch this morning around 7:30am.

I will be locking the season 2019-2022.

This morning 6:50am I could see an eagle perched on a branch in the nest tree!
Hoping we see an eaglet or two this year!

After watching the nest at different times of the day I have not been able to tell from this distance if there are any eaglets there, but in the past I would have seen evidence by now. Sad to say.

This morning I checked the nest through the telescope and Saw Pa at the top
of the tree and Ma in the nest. She was standing and it seemed she may have been feeding either herself or perhaps an eaglet it's difficult to tell at this distance.

Things have been progressing well here. :) I'm pretty sure we have one or more eaglet(s) in the nest as I've seen several food drops over the last few days. I have also seen what looked like feeding behaviour from 1 adult at least twice. I will keep watching to confirm but sounds like very good new...
