Re: Surrey Reserve 2019-2020 Observation and Discussion

3:27-3:28 p.m.: Judy, I had nearly identical screenshots of the delivery of the young bird (and I agree that it looked like it was already dead).

12:08 p.m. ctd.: Eaglet looks over at parent and calls out. Parent flies off.
12:39 p.m.: That was a good meal, whatever it was. Feeding lasted till now, then the eaglet scurried over to something else in the nest. Not sure if it's food, though.

Re: Surrey Reserve 2019-2020 Observation and Discussion

12:08 p.m.: Food delivery. I'm not sure what the prey is. It has legs or wings, but the image is too grainy for me to tell for sure. The parent crossed the nest, and I was surprised the eaglet didn't mantle over the prey.

Re: HALIFAX OSPREY NEST ... 2020

Hi, Bev and all! Whew, I'm glad it was just the camera slipping. I was a bit worried when I saw that the cam had moved up a bit. I'm happy that all is well! :huggie:

Re: Request a New Thread Here

Question: Is there a way to create a general thread in the "Falcoln" forum? I see threads devoted to particular nests, but not a general thread for photos or screenshots. Re: HALIFAX OSPREY NEST ... 2020

EDIT: 11:48 a.m.: Oscar taking the fish. (I was in between posting and watching the cam. I thought he was delivering another one, but then, after he flew off, I didn't see a fish on the nest and I wondered what had happened to the fish. I saw from Bev's post later on that he actually took the fish,...
