The eagles quite often perch in the trees on the side of the road down to the lagoon, past the entrance to Fort Rodd Hill where the Fisgard Lighthouse is situated. In January of 2014 there were intruder eagles causing a territorial battle to ensue. Both resident eagles were defending their territory when 2 eagles locked talons and fell over a branch. My sister, who lives in the WestHills area in Langford, continues to see one adult eagle perched in a tree by Langford Lake when she goes for her walks. The nest they had a couple of years ago across the lake fell down. We'll be exploring the area when the weather gets a bit better :luck:
