Female flew back to her perch in the snag after she had a drink.

On July 7th I saw a sub-adult eagle perched in a tree on Wallace Dr. where the eagles had many nests that blew down over the years. I wonder if this one was from one of those nests :chin:

It seems the eagles have not produced any young again this year :( My fellow WiTS monitor contacted the property owner who said the eagles hadn't been around the nest much in the past few weeks :(

I drove by the nest area this afternoon and did not see any eaglets or adults in the area. There was one adult perched down the road near the dog park but I didn't take a photo of it; it was raining quite hard at the time.
