11:40 am in rollback, Brit is back to protecting her egg. And it is still raining. Brit has been on duty since 6:56 pm last night. But she isn't calling for Rey so she is where she wants to be, taking care of her precious egg.

11:29 am in rollback, Brit gets up and gives her egg a gentle roll and then shakes off the rain from her feathers. What a great mama eagle protecting her egg! 7:44 am Brit is keeping her egg dry and protecting it against the rainy weather. I will be out until after lunch here at Surrey.

6:05 am in rollback, with the thunderstorm here moving out for awhile, checking on Brit. She is up for a PS and moves back to the nest bowl to keep her egg nice and dry. 5:27 am Brit calls out and I think I heard an answer from Rey but not sure. Brit gets up and shakes off the rain water and shimmies back down to protect her egg. 3:42 am Brit is sound asleep. Checked the rollback and the night so far has been quiet. Brit was up a couple of times to do some preening and some to take care of her egg.

1:56 pm Rey's feathers are nice and dry. Sure Brit will dry out her feathers as she flies about.

1:40 pm Rey is now on duty to incubate their egg.

1:37 pm in rollback, Brit calls out again and flies. And Rey quickly comes to the nest. Sure Brit is ready for a nice break. Could hear her with more vocals after she flew.

1:25 pm in rollback, something got Brit's attention and she vocalizes. Wish Rey would make an appearance. With the rain, hunting may have taken he far from the nest.

1:23 pm in rollback, again Brit is up and flies. She returns with vocals and settles into the nest bowl.

12:58 pm in rollback, Brit is up again and flies to return with vocals. She settles back down into the nest bowl.

12:41 pm Brit is still in the nest. I think the rain has stopped but Brit's feathers are still very wet.

12:26 pm in rollback, Brit has settled in to protect her egg.
