11:30 am logging into both cams. Rey brought in some food and Brit feeding SR9. Will update in a bit.

10:07 am Brit is digging deep in the nest bowl. Maybe that black weedy grass will be buried. Hope so. I am not fond that type of grass as it is much like ribbon and doesn't break easily. 10:09 am logging off both cams and bringing them back to home.

10:03 am SR9 is trying to take a nap and Brit keeps waking him/her up. Finally SR9 crawls under Brit.

10:03 am so Brit is aerating the nest and making SR9 wake up. Brit spreads nesting material over SR9. SR9 has a crop drop.

9:54 am Brit in the nest with a sleeping chick.

9:54 am SR9 sleeping under Rey. Brit brings in some of that awful black weed. Both vocalized and Rey flies. Brit moves that black weed to the nest bowl area. I do not like that kind of nesting material. Last year one of the chicks got tangled in that black weed and took a bit of doing to get release...

9:50 am SR9 is moving around Rey and finally gets settled in for a nap around Rey's feet.

9:45 am Rey is moving more nesting material around the nest bowl and pulls a stick from the bowl.

9:44 am on my, little SR9 looks stuck in the nest bowl hole and Rey is adding more nesting material to the nest bowl. The little one is going to be comfy but buried in nesting material all around.

9:40 am in rollback, Rey is finding some bites for SR9. Thinking the pantry needs some fresh food.

9:43 am logging into the cams to bring the north cam back to home and watch for a bit. Thanks for zooming, Ryan.

8:40 am in rollback and out of sequence and just too cute to not share. SR9 was watching mom and got a bit feisty. SR9 begins to poke at Brit...not once...not twice...not three times but seven times. Guess since SR9 doesn't have a sibling to bonk, a parent is on the reaching end of a natural behavio...

7:51 am Brit is tending to SR9. There is a blob of something on the cam cover. Wonder if a nice rain would clean the cam cover for us? Would be nice.

7:32 am in rollback, Brit is eating some leftovers. Looks like SR9 has a nice little crop. SR9 now is taking a nap.

7:28 am in rollback, more food for SR9. Brit is finding some bites for herself.
