8:19pm...Pretty calm here. Brit goes back and forth between being awake or sleeping. It will be dark soon. I think Rey is likely up top as I don't see him on the night perches.


One day closer to a hatch. Our adults are doing this perfectly.


OFF cams.

8:13pm........I knew she was looking sleepy.

8:10pm.....Brit has been looking in this direction for a while.....I do not see anything out there.

8:05pm......Brit got up to do a bit of digging and give the egg a roll or two.

8:00pm....A quick look at the bay did not reveal much, but maybe one bird on top of this tree.
Sun is setting.

7:50pm.....From the rollback......Rey got up and left the nest. Brit is here now.

7:49pm.....From the rollback.....Rey rolled the egg.
At 7:33pm Brit came home.

7:40pm......IN on both cams.....checking the rollback.

From the rollback........Brit stayed on the nest for some time. But at 5:24pm. she got up, called out greetings and flew from the nest.
Rey came for a COTG.

4:12pm.........Had a quick look around............did not see anything of importance. The wind is blowing Brit's skirts up!

OFF cams.

4:05pm.....Currently......Brit is keeping the egg warm on this nice sunny day.

4:02pm.....IN on both cams.

From the rollback......since the last post Brit has been up a couple of times to roll the egg and do a bit of digging.

8:23pm.......Brit was up to tend to the egg. Hard to see the egg as the cam has focus issues once the light begins to wane.

Things seem to be calm tonight. As the sun is setting I am guessing that Rey is already nearby, but cannot confirm of course.

8:19pm......Brit is looking towards the border........wonder if Rey is over there? Or maybe he's already up top.

8:05pm.....IN on both cams....checking the rollback.

Not much new happening after Brit came to the nest.
