8:00pm.....Brit looks to be hunkering down over the egg now. She will probably sleep soon. With this rain it is very quiet out there with no one moving around. All the trees are full of leaves now so the view out from the nest has become very limited. I did a quick look for Rey...........did not see...

7:56pm....Brit stood up in the nest, did some serious aerating to keep the bowl soft, then laid back down over the egg. I tried to get a look at the egg but Brit was keeping close contact with the egg.

7:49pm.....Brit has remained on top of the egg since she came back to the nest.

7:48pm.....From the rollback.........Brit landed in the nest, came straight to the egg and gave it a roll before settling down over it.


Rey flew off the nest.
Brit landed.

7:40pm....IN on both cams.....checking the rollback.

From the rollback.........Rey got up at 6:49pm. He called out as Brit was coming back, did a PS and flew from the nest.

8:31pm.......Maybe a darker spot on the right side of Brit's beak...........likely food or maybe just shading....reddish, so probably food.

8:24pm......More of the egg........
Brit was constantly digging in the nest.
Now Brit is back down on the egg.

8:23pm........The egg.

8:22pm....Brit just got up and we had a fairly good look at the egg, one side of it..............but some grass obscuring our view.

8:13pm..........It is absolutely still out there......not a leaf moving.

8:04pm.........IN on both cams.......checking the rollback.

The rollback shows nothing new of significance.......Brit is still on the nest. Looks like she is getting sleepy now.

4:27pm......Brit was up to do some serious aerating of the nest...........then she laid back down and started to pull grasses around herself. But we did get a very quick look at the egg. 1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg 4:28pm....No sign of Rey at this time............but I'm sure he will be around in a while. OFF...
