8:20pm....Had a quick look for Rey.....nowhere in sight which I'd expect. Good to see the wind gone and the rain has stopped for the moment.


I have moved cams back to HOME position so we can see the whole activity around the nest.

8:16pm....Currently......Brit was asleep when I first got here but has since woken up.

4:25pm...Rey stood up but wouldn't give us a view of the egg.

4:20pm..It is quiet except for some machinery noises. Brit seems content on the nest.


Hopefully we will get some breaks from the rain we had this morning.

Tide looks to be partly out at the bay.

4:10pm..........IN on both cams....checking the rollback.

From the rollback......Rey has bee up to give the egg a roll a couple of times. The egg is in good hands (talons).

8:16pm....Some close ups of Brit. Her face is still quite smudgy.

8:21pm.....Brit is not yet asleep but should be soon. I have not seen Rey, but he's likely up high in the tree.

8:05pm.....Brit has woken up and is watching something.

7:59pm....Something just flew past at the bay........can't tell what it was as it was too fast. Could have been an eagle. Brit is sleeping and hasn't budged.

7:52pm....Brit is lying down on the egg......she is getting sleepy now. It has been a lovely, sunny day here..........very little wind.

Checked the rollback......Since the last post Brit has been up a few times to do a bit of digging and roll the egg.

1815 - Brit returned from the East, and immediately went to the nest bowl to aerate it and likely roll her egg. Are we 1 week and a bit of change away from the official pip watch? 4:57pm.....More of Rey.

4:54pm..........No sign of any large birds at the bay. There is no wind today, or very little..........and it is warm. Rey seems to be liking his time on the nest.

4:46pm.........A warm, sunny day here.......looks like low tide at the bay.
