Just a quick note.........I've sent an email to JudyB regarding the official hatch time as it seems a bit dubious this time. With half hatches and membranes keeping the chick in for some time we need an official decision. We will accept whatever she feels is right.

So the chick seems to be out of the shell but bits are sticking to the chick. I'd like to see them drop off. Maybe as the chick dries out they will.

4:40pm........I think Rey is trying to lure Brit off the egg so he can take over..........she is squealing at him.

4;36pm..Rey just brought something to the nest..........have no idea what that is but it does not look like anything fresh. He is now eating it in front of Brit and she is squealing.
