4:16pm......Brit is guarding all precious things. She tried to soften the bedding but it looks a bit crowded there.

Wow, Jean, what a commotion you had while zooming. Great to see Rey come in with prey. He is a great provider. And interesting thing Brit did with the prey after the meal by pulling it close to her. It is as if she is protecting it for future meals. Smart Mama. I thought so too Sandy .......she pul...

Brit is looking sleepy now. Quiet time is in order.

Sr9 seems really strong this early ! And we got parents that want to feed often Rey looked like such a proud dad there with the chick popping out Yes I agree..........this is a very strong chick and it is such a good feeling to see that! Pushing with its wings already and trying to stand tall.........

3:57pm....After a few bites Brit stopped offering food and has now come back down by SR9.

3:55pm.....The chick was offered several bites.............and it looked like it did eat.

Brit dragged the prey, a duck/loon?? across the nest and over the chick. But the chick popped out and was fine.

3:54pm.........The chick seemed to be very strong......using its wings to push with and turn itself around to face Brit.
Egg tooth is very visible here. I will drop off in a few days.

3:54pm....After Rey left Brit dragged the prey to the nest bowl and began to offer bits to the chick.

3:51pm....Great commotion as Rey brings in fresh prey!! Brit saw him, called out and jumped from the nest to receive the delivery.

Rey flew off immediately.

3:33pm......Happy mama.

3:25pm.....From the rollback......Little eaglet was offered several tiny bits and it looked like the chick did receive many of them. This may end up being the best fed eaglet ever.
