Re: CHAT-N-BOBBLE
Good morning! It takes about a month for falcon eggs to hatch. They usually hatch close together and they do nor engage in sibling revelry which is nice! They will just line up for meal times, it is very cute. Hopefully Savanna has had some experience and will know how to feed them. Zoey was pretty ...

Re: CHAT-N-BOBBLE
Good afternoon! Yes, that would be Savanah. Newman has intensely colored feet and no bands. Usually the female hangs out in the box and may sleep in it before eggs. The male mostly comes in for bonding (they do a chirping dance!) and to bring food or incubate/brood. It's mostly her domain. I have al...

Re: CHAT-N-BOBBLE
Good afternoon!
Yes, that would be Savanah.
I have also watched the Orange nest at CSU NSW and have learned quite a bit there. The nest box is in a water tower at a University and a professor there is studying the falcons, so it is very informative.

Re: CHAT-N-BOBBLE
Good morning all! I have been watching the Great Spirit Bluff falcons for a few years. The ledge is where they often eat and prep prey when they have eyas in the box. The head bobbing is triangulation in order to see depth better because of their eye placement; owls do it too. Neither of the 2 adult...

Re: CHAT-N-BOBBLE
Watching Malala & Junior has been fun and educational, although sometimes so difficult to see well! It really makes one appreciate the excellent quality of our cams here at SWFL!!! Many repeated thanks & much appreciation to/for the Pritchetts!

Re: SW Florida Eagle Cam 2019~2020
:bye 1: I enjoyed both stories of today without cams; thank you both! I also want to add my thanks to Pritchetts, all involved in the forum and scaps, videos, poems, stories, and general love of all things H & M & offspring. Y'all did a better job than I can of listing everyone, but I really want to...

Re: EAGLE Chatters Nest
Remember how M15 was gone for a few days (maybe 4?) when E9 left for his journey? Wasn't he gone a couple days either last year or the year before when one of the eaglets left also? After he returned, we all thought he was escorting his baby on the beginning of their journey. :rh: :bye 1: I am think...

Re: EAGLE Chatters Nest
The Explore webcam site for Decorah apparently has better updated info. I copied what I posted directly from them last night. Today, all three eaglets have been seen together on cam, on the skywalk, and receiving a fish from DM2.
